Whole Grains

Constipation is a common symptom of hypothyroidism. Whole-grain foods such as cereal, bread, pasta, and rice are high in nutrients in addition to fiber, which can help with bowel regularity. Seaweed

With the high concentration of iodine in Seaweed, it is beneficial for the proper functioning of thyroid. It is the precursor for the production of the hormone. It also offers nutritional benefits of fiber, calcium, and a number of vitamins like A, B, C, E, and K.
Though it is advisable to consult your doctor before deciding the quantity of iodine to be consumed.

Beans

If hypothyroidism makes you feel drained, beans can help you with sustained energy. Beans contain essentials like protein, antioxidants, complex carbohydrates, and loads of vitamins and minerals. Beans can be consumed in many alternate ways such as the base for entrées, as side dishes, and as an enhancer in soups, salads, and stews. Just don’t overdo it.
