The 20-year-old medical student has real fitness goals to share and can shame any teenager with her strict diet.

Arushi Verma, Co-Founder, FITPASS, who is the fitness guru of Miss India World 2017 Manushi Chhillar shares the perfect work out regime to get those perfect abs and the petite structure the world in drooling over!

 Practise yoga regularly: Yoga is a great form of exercise to maintain correct body posture and keep muscles toned. Apart from providing a slim figure, yoga is also beneficial for increasing flexibility and core strength of your body.

Twisting: For an over-all body warm-up, core twisting is the most effective exercise to lengthen, strengthen, detox and tone your entire body. Being an effective cardio workout, core twisting also helps to eliminate pain, inflammation and internal scar tissue formation.

Squats: This is one exercise which should be part of everyone`s workout routine -- regardless of age, gender or fitness goals. They`re not just for legs; they benefit the whole body in a multitude of ways. Apart from toning and maintaining thigh and bottom muscles squats also help in increasing entire body strength and muscle, improving circulation, getting rid of cellulite etc

Run or just dance. The best way to de-stress your body is to go for a run or just start dancing to your favourite tunes.

Doing yoga for 15 years now and I have no shame in admitting that I was “scared“ to attempt the Sirsaasana.. Having suffered with Cervical spondolisis (still have goose bumps remembering the time I was bedridden for a month) with a C4 C5 disc injury in my neck and recurrent issues having to use a neck brace after (which is why I took up Yoga) It’s taken me 15 years to triumph over my demons..was always very tempted to attempt but I didn’t want to risk my neck as I’m inundated with responsibilities as a mom and a professional.. then I used my “age” as an alibi. So told my Yoga teacher and he said.. “If not now then when??!!The greatest pleasure is when you are able to do what you cannot do”..Started slowly with the wall a month ago and now without any support..only going to show that there is something inside us that is greater than any obstacle.. you just have to have Faith.. and BELIEVE. Will power , determination, positivity and practice will make anything you want to achieve possible..Today I can proudly say ,Yes I have Courage ????and that’s a great weapon to have ????.
