If we did not recognize the importance of physicians before, we are certainly learning how much they contribute to society, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. As we isolate ourselves, it is the doctors who constantly fight for the lives of people who have been infected with the deadly virus. With the number of infected people increasing every day and hospitals crowded with hundreds of people, it has never been more important to appreciate the efforts doctors make to ensure that we recover enough from whatever is making us sick and stay healthy. . Doctors are truly the greatest heroes, not just of the present but of all time.

India celebrates National Doctor Day on July 1 of each year, in honor of the birth and death anniversary of the great physician and West Bengal’s second chief minister, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. Since then, India has grown by leaps and bounds in the medical field, not only to drive the work of Dr. BC Roy, but also with new and innovative techniques. This day serves to show gratitude to all those who have selflessly helped us in our time of need and have worked tirelessly for the health of their patients by commemorating the greatest representative of these ideals.

Every year, National Doctor’s Day is organized with a theme, last year, “Zero tolerance for violence against doctors and the clinical setting.” This year’s theme has yet to be announced, but we can assume that it will refer to the pandemic we are experiencing.

Doctor’s Day was established by the Government of India in 1991 to be recognized and celebrated each year on July 1 of each year in India. Doctor’s Day is observed on different dates around the world. In the United States, the day is observed on March 30, in Cuba on December 3, and in Iran on August 23.

Dr. Kshitiz Murdia, CEO of Indira IVF, says: “The doctors are special, and this year is one in which we have seen them as our real life heroes. Doctor’s Day is an opportunity to thank all the heroes of the medical fraternity for their selfless contributions. They are spending long hours and working all day while the world faces this pandemic. At Indira IVF, we guarantee special precautions for our doctors, health care personnel and patients with the best protocols in their class. “
