Promise Day special: Health promises you must make to yourself

This promise day, make a promise to yourself that you will treasure your health, in the best possible way.

We make a number of health resolutions each year, but these promises are laid back somewhere we never think of. And our health promises take a backseat. And when we suddenly become health conscious we want to shed some kilos or get rid of dark circles. This promise day, make a promise to yourself that you will treasure your health, in the best possible way.

#Promise 1: I will be kinder to myself

Most of the times, in our general routine, we start comparing ourselves to a number of people and take the unnecessary pressure. It’s never too late to promise yourself that you’ll be kinder to yourself and detoxify yourself from this burden and will be kinder to your self.

#Promise #2: I will spend lesser time on social media

Social media has impregnated our lives to such an extent that imagining a day without it seems quite impossible. We have lost the contact with the real world by imploring into the virtuality. And constantly using e devices has damaged our health.

#Promise 3: I will monitor my vitals more regularly

It is advisable to pay a visit to the doctor for a full body checkup every 6 months. But since our lifestyle has changed with late night sleep, work stress, long desk hours, we need to keep a regular check on our health and notice changes on daily basis.

#Promise 4: I will adopt at least one physical activity

No matter how much we love our beds and would love to spend some time sleeping, we should ensure that we dedicate some time to physical activities as well.

#Promise 5: I will drink more water

This is the most needed promise, everyone. We are so indulged in our work that we completely forget to drink water, which causes a LOT of health problems. From altering blood pressures to diabetes and from gastro-intestinal abnormalities to UTI all are caused by less water.
