Are we living in a simulation? The Universe is so bizarre it must be true

More and more people seem to believe that we are living in a simulation. In our cozy little simulation, we believe that the Universe is made up of enormous, logical structures that look a lot like a brain. Scientists believe that we are on the edge of being able to spot signatures of alien life. Still, the Universe, while we believe we are understanding it better and better, remains inscrutably bizarre. To the point that living in a simulation and not having to worry, seems really rather relaxing.
