Apple has already been tipped to go big with its upcoming flagships, iPhone 12. And now, a new leak claims it could do so without actually driving up the prices of the phones too high. Or at least that will be the case with one of the iPhones.

This is according to a report from @omegaleaks which claims that Apple will launch an iPhone that will be priced below the $600 mark -- making it one of the most affordable flagship iPhones in years. This phone is said to be a 4G-variant of the entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12, and will retail for $549.

Interestingly, @omegaleaks isn`t the only one to have pegged such an aggressive price point for the new iPhones. Earlier, even Jon Prosser had speculated a $649 price point for the entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12. These reports also fall in line with previous predictions from industry experts. Case in point, an analyst note from Daniel Ives of Wedbush Securities which has predicted that there could be a cheaper version of the iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch display for 2020. In the note, Ives also predicted that this affordable iPhone will be the same as the others, however, it will not come with support for 5G.

Apart from this, previous reports have claimed the iPhone 12 could come in four models spread across three different sizes. As per the new report, there will be a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max, while the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch phones will be the 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All four phones could sport the same iPhone X like design, with an all-screen display and a notch to house the Face ID mechanism.
The iPhone 12 is expected to get 120Hz ProMotion display, however, this feature is being tipped to be exclusive to the 6.1 and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro phones. Reports claim that the ProMotion screens will feature dynamic refresh rate switching allowing them to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on the task at hand.

iPhone 12 is also said to feature updated autofocus than previous models. The camera improvements will also ensure better subject detection and slow-motion performance under low light. There is also expected to be a telephoto zoom upgrade from 2x to 3x optical zoom.
