The time when you’re travelling in trains, trams and trucks to be at your destination may seem a bit monotonous during the long journey, right? Well, here are 5 things you can do to kill time while you en route your long journey. Take a look
Over the year travel has emerged as an escape to boredom, routine, fear, and everything cynical that goes around somebody. Visiting your relatives being synonymous with travelling is a long forgotten tale. Today it is more about adventure, adrenaline rush, sports and much more exciting. But this is when you have already reached your destination. What about that time when you’re travelling in trains, trams and trucks to be at your destination? May seem a bit monotonous during the long journey right? Well, here are 5 things you can do to kill time while you en route your long journey. Take a look
Grab a good old book you love
If your travel mates have been asking you to shut the window or cranking for the dust, take a deep breath and pull that old book from your bag and forget the world for sometime. You could carry the book according to your destination. For instance a Ruskin bond classic if you are travelling to the hills or Paulo Coelho for the desserts.
Strike a conversation with an absolute stranger
Travelling is all about experiences and acquaintances. Take a comfortable seat and strike a conversation with somebody you know nothing about. Know about their experiences, their travelogues. You will definitely find some interesting memories to keep with yourselves.
Write letters to your loved ones
Yea everything is digitized, we’ve got apps that could send our messages in a blink but that’s typically mainstream, right? Write some letters and surprise them for the emotions you could pour down by a pen can never level up to what a text reads.
Find new places in the area to see by locals
A local resident knows the city best. You can easily find somebody residing to the same or a town nearby your destination. Ask them to spill some beans about the place and what things you could do. Find some unique untraced places and have the best of the journey.
Note down your experience
For talking to strangers and letting people know what you are thinking is not easy for everybody. So if you find it difficult, pen down your thoughts. Doodle something may be on your phone, a paper or anything you find useful. Keep them safe and if you have a memorandum of your trip.
We hope, these fun ways will help you kill that monotonous time on a long journey and have a super memorable trip.
