Chhattisgarh CM announces Lord Ram’s mother Quees Kaushalya temple in Raipur

The CM of Chhattisgarh has claimed that the state is the maternal home of Rama, where he had spent a good amount of his life during the period of his exile from Ayodhya.

While Ayodhya is hosting the much-awaited Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan today, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made an announcement of constructing a regal temple for Queen Kaushalya, the biological mother of Hindu deity Rama, near Raipur in Chhattisgarh. Kaushalya was one of queens of Ayodhya, and king Dashrath’s first wife, other two being Kaikeyi and Sumitra.

According to the latest reports, CM Baghel wants the original structure of Mata Kaushalya temple to be preserved and the premises to be beautified. In addition, the temple will have amenities to make the devotees comfortable during their visit to the shrine.
