Hyderabad Airport now has mass fever screening system to detect Covid-19

The novel thermal screening machine at the Hyderabad International Airport is a mass fever screening system, mounted on the ceiling, which has been made to scan, detect and track feverish passengers with high body temperature.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport is now equipped with a mass fever screening system. It enables the authorities to examine passengers for the symptoms of Coronavirus.

In a statement issued by the airport, it has been written that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in lieu with the Asian Development Bank, has endowed the Hyderabad International Airport with an advanced thermal scanner with an objective of improving the ability of the screening process. This initiative has been financed by UNICEF (United Nations Children`s Fund).

The system can adjust and adapt to its environment temperature on its own.
