India has issued fresh guidelines for International arrivals

During travelling passengers should wear mask and maintain social distancing.

The Minister of Health and Family Welfare has issued new guidelines for International those arriving in India. International travelers coming into India have to follow these guidelines and adhere to every policy laid out. These guidelines will come into force from August 8, 12:01 am.

Some of the major points are mentioned below:

Before planning to travel, self-declaration form has to be submitted by passengers at least 72 hours before their scheduled departure. Passengers should also give an undertaking in the portal newelhiairport.in, stating that they will undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days. Out of these 14 days, seven days should be spent in institutional quarantine at your own cost, while the remainder days to be spent in home quarantine.

Before boarding passengers are advised to download the Arogya Setu app when arriving in India, and you will be handed a list of dos and don’ts. Also, it is very important to note here that only asymptomatic passengers will be permitted to board the aircraft.

During traveling, passengers should wear mask and maintain social distancing.

On arrival, deboarding must be done with social distancing, and thermal screening should be carried out as well. Any passenger found to be symptomatic will be isolated immediately.
