ISKCON seals as 22 people test Covid-19 positive

According to an official, the temple has been sealed and people’s movement has been restricted. The temple, situated in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh was all set to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami.

On the eve of Janmashtami, ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan is sealed after 22 people, including the priest, tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

According to an official, the temple has been sealed and people’s movement has been restricted. The temple, situated in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh was all set to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami.

Reportedly, after two people living inside the temple complex tested positive for the virus, the health officials tested all 165 people staying in the premises. On Tuesday, reports for 22 people, including the priest of the temple, showed positive for the virus. Following this, the whole complex and temple was sealed.
