A nine to five jobs, a decent pay package and a loving family to go back home to is what almost every woman looks forward to all there life. There are some who are on a mission to claim the rights of women in a male dominated society but there are also the ones who are already living their life on their own terms.

Maral Yazarloo ,the Iranian woman who is living in India for the past 15 years and is a fashion designer by profession, has travelled 35 countries and 5 continents in a year solo in her own bike

Maral owns two Harley-Davidsons, a Ducati Diavel, and the BMW F650GS. Isn’t it a dream come true for all the bike-lovers.

And yes have my fears too like anybody else and I face and master them !I have all the questions You might have in ur head for being solo on African roads ... but somewhere deep down I believe everything will be fine as I learned and lived : one day and step at the time ... my prayers: existence Guide me and keep me in the best places to learn, protect me from anything can harm me and show me this beautiful world of yours filled with beautiful people ! And help me to not harm any human/animal/nature of urs ! And make me a better person for me and for all ! #onmybike #aroundtheworld

Things however where not supposed to be the way it is now.

Her pursuit to do MBA and PhD in Marketing brought Maral to India 15 years ago, but future had something else in store for her. While she was still completing her MBA from Pune University and had set up her own label as a fashion designer

Her journey as a traveler started after a male friend of hers asked her to get off his Bullet instigating her to try her hands on bikes and the rest is history. She initially started her trips as travel blogger accompanied with a photographer and a videographer but soon they left her due to illness but nothing to bow down the enthusiasm of Maral.

It`s only a year now and Maral has already travelled Bhutan, Southeast Asia, Australia, the US, Mexico, Central America, South America and Antarctica as of now and very soon she will begin the last leg of her journey through Europe from where she is planning to come back to India by August

The most interesting part of her journey is that she got married also while travelling. Her beau travelled down 12 countries to marry her and encouraged her to continue her journey. The two got married in Peru where both their family and friends joined them. Immediately the next day they started their honeymoon on a bike.

Such travel stories are not just an inspiration for the travel bugs but also for the society that finds women weak and fragile to take rigorous travelling on the roads.
