South African Hashim Amla is often regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world, known for his elegant style and playing proper cricketing shots has scored runs almost everywhere he has played and established himself as one of the stalwarts of modern-day cricket.

Apart from orchestral and masterly cricketing skills, Amla is also known for promoting the spirit of the game and being one of the best ambassadors of the game with his on and off antiquates.

The 34-year-old once again showed that cricket is still gentleman’s game and why he is one of the most respected cricketers in world cricket. In a match between RCB and KXIP, Amla edged the fifth delivery of the innings to the wicket-keeper. 

Kedar Jadhav did not spot the tickle and hence did not even appeal. Just when the bowler in Aniket Choudhary made a slight appeal for the caught behind, Amla himself walked away before the umpire raised his finger.

A true display of sportsmanship, Amla won the hearts of cricket supporters with his act.
