Both Knight Riders and Lions have played five matches so far but the difference is that Kolkata team has lost only one match while Gujarat team has won one and lost remaining four.Unlike the previous encounter between these sides, Kolkata will also have the home ground advantage this time around.

The Gautam Gambhir led KKR  will be high on confidence as they head into this match after three consecutive wins. Although they have lost some key players like Andre Russell and Chris Lynn, but their performance has not seen any dip. On the other hand, the Suresh Raina led  Gujarat Lions will be dependent on their strong batting line-up to help them make a comeback. The likes of Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina and Aaron Finch are proven hitters in T20 cricket, but have not been able to make the kind of impact they can. Dinesh Karthik and Ravindra Jadeja also need to step up and be counted with the bat. Ishan Kishan will be the player to watchout for.
