KKR`s Shakib Al Hasan to leave for National duties

The Bangladeshi all-rounder has so far played just one match of Kolkata Knight Riders and during that match, he scored one not out and returned with bowling figures for 0/31. 

The ICC No.1 rank all-rounder played an important role when the Kolkata won the title in 2014 and have constantly performed well for KKR. Shakib-Al-Hasan has played 43 matches for KKR since joining the men in purple back in 2011, scoring 498 runs with an average of 21.65 and picked up 43 picked with an economy rate of 7.1.

However, this season opportunities has been very limited, Grandhomme has been playing ahead of him and with spinners performing well, he featured in one match, which will be his last as KKR are set to be without the services of  Shakib Al Hasan for the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) season 10.
