Mumbai Indians star batsman of the season Nitish Rana has grabbed all the eye balls with his breathtaking batting display so far. Two weeks into the tournament, Rana is showing his batting prowess and a team India call up seems very much on the cards. He has a range of shots and can unsettle any bowler. He  can also clear the boundary rope easily and stands at the top as far as most sixes are concerned in this season’s IPL.

Mumbai Indians performance in this year’s IPL has been very impressive and Nitish has played a vital role in the team’s success so far. He has got into head of Opposition captains and has been praised by many former cricketers as well.

With Champions Trophy coming and with injuries to some players including KL Rahul, Selectors may be tempted to think of including Nitish this time. Apart from Mumbai Indians, Rana also plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and has credited Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar for his success.
