IPL 2017: Unadkat`s hat-trick help Pune defeat SRH

In a thrilling encounter between Rising Pune Supergiant and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the giant has come on top defeating the defending champions by 13 runs. The Sunrisers won the toss and opted to bowl first, with that Pune set a total of 148/8, Dhoni (31), Ben Stokes (39) and skipper Steve Smith (34) helped Supergiant post a decent total.

The Sunrisers who never lost at home this season were confident of chasing the total posted by Pune, but some superb bowling from Unadkat (5/30) and Ben Stokes (3/30) guided RPS to second on table points and seal their playoff spot. Yuvraj (47) played well and was just 3 short of his half century, while skipper, as usual, contributed with the bat scoring 40 runs but Unadkat’s first hat-trick in the Indian Premier League clinched the match for the visitors.

With that win, Pune snaps Sunrisers winning record at home this season and also for the first time they lost two wickets in the powerplay whereas Pune has turned around their poor start to THE season by picking up crucial wins and booking their spot in the playoffs.
