Watch: The special kid behind Unadkat`s memorable `Hat-trick`

Specially-abled children have proved their excellence and are rising high with the help of some organizations. One of them is Apang Kalyankari Shikshan Sanstha. In Pune’s recent match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jaydev Unadkat created headlines  when he picked up the third hat-trick of  IPL 2017. However, most people had not been aware of the fact that a little kid who had been associated with Unadkat’s feat.

A few days before the game, Unadkat, along with his Rising Pune Supergiant team-mates Faf Du Plessis and Steven Smith had met some children supported by the Mukul Madhav Foundation, at an event organized by Finolex Pipes, Gulf Oil and Rising Pune Supergiant.  During the event, Omkar, a student ,had adviced the Pune pacer to grip the ball across the seam and that it would guarantee him a hat-trick. They laughed at that time but who would have thought the little kid’s words would ultimately come true.

Omkar is a student in the Apang Kalyankari Shikshan Sanstha(APSS). APSS is an organization working towards the education of specially abled children in Pune and is supported by Finolex and Mukul Mahadev Foundation.
