IPL2017: MS Dhoni can be the decisive factor in final

Indian Premier League’s stage is all set for final clash between 2 very competitive sides-Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant.
The fate of titanic clash will depend on some key players of both the teams and MSD is one of them.

The wicket-keeper batsman seems to have got his midas touch as he clicked in last match, just before final game on Sunday. In 1st qualifier match against top ranked Mumbai, MSD played a match winning innings of unbeaten 40 runs from just 26 balls. In very crucial match his quick 40 runs powered his side to post a defendable total 162 runs.

Shockingly, despite Mahi has unrivaled record as skipper, his captaincy was replaced by Australian cricketer Steve Smith. But, Dhoni like a real leader continued to support Smith and answered critics by his performances. MSD so far has played 15 matches and scored 280 runs in this season.

Mahi’s IPL career, so far, is also unparallel. Played 158 matches, MS Dhoni has scored 3551 runs with 17 half centuries. His strike rate is also remarkable 137.05.

Mahi with his incredible cricketing mind has conquered numbers of big trophies including two world cups and two IPL titles. He has experience of playing as many as 6 IPL finals which itself gives an edge to RPS.  The presence of Dhoni in the side is itself a matter of worrisome for the opponent.

Rohit Sharma-led MI would have deviced strategy against Mahi. Known as ‘Mr. Cool’ Dhoni has also very cunning cricketing mind that surprised the counterpart.

It would be interesting to see how Dhoni will play in the final for the side which is going to dissolve post IPL10.
