Tripura school under lens for ABVP 'presence'

Later when I enquired it appeared that the teachers have been organizing programmes with the help of local party workers for a long time."He said a showcause notice has been served on the headmaster, assistant headmaster and a teacher based on available evidence and an inquiry has begun against the accused. On August 11, the assistant headmaster had allegedly directed the students to pay a 'subscription fee' of Rs 10 for a programme arranged for the farewell of three teachers.The school authority had been directed to pay back the entire amount to the students. The headmaster said, "The subscription was indeed collected but there was some mismanagement, which brought ABVP into the picture."
