BJP to withdraw cases against IPFT workers

The same day, IPFT workers led by local MLA Prem Kumar Reang staged a mass rally at Kanchanpur demanding legal action against BJP activists involved in assaulting IPFT workers and their vice-president Ananta Debbarma at Jubarajnagar in North Tripura last week during filing of nomination for the civic bypoll.On the other hand, an IPFT delegation headed by its supremo NC Debbarma met BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav on Monday and assured his full support to the government.
