Tripura CM enjoys beauty of waterfall at Silcharra

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday found time to visit Silcharra for enjoying the beauty of the Buddha Fall located at Andacherra ADC village in Unnakoti district of the state. Chief minister Deb was accompanied by ministers Santana Chakma, Pranajit Singha Roy, the chief secretary and others during the visit to the waterfall. After publication of news reports about the beauty of the waterfall, the chief minister Deb took out time to visit the spot in Pecharthal block. Talking to media persons, chief minister Deb said, “Tripura has the potentials to attract huge number of tourists.”“Day by day, many unexplored places in Tripura are getting explored and Tripura will surely be developed into a tourist hub,” added Deb.

Deb along with two of the ministers and the top bureaucrat spent some quality time at the spot of the waterfall. He instructed the authorities concerned to adopt all measures required for the development of the spot to attract more number of tourists. Talking to media persons, chief minister Deb said, “Tripura has the potentials to attract huge number of tourists.” “Day by day, many unexplored places in Tripura are getting explored and Tripura will surely be developed into a tourist hub,” added Deb. There are many places in Tripura which are yet to be explored and one such beautiful spot, which remained explored till recently is the Buddha waterfall. The waterfall is located at Silachari ADC Village under Pecharthal block in Unakoti district. The road condition towards the waterfall has remained dilapidated and people can reach the spot only on foot. One has to pass through a stream covered by trees, land having jhum cultivation, animals and birds.
