Tripura reports 49 new COVID19 cases state tally rises to 520

Tripura has registered 49 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state's overall tally to 520. Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday said 821 samples were tested for COVID19, out of which 49 were found positive. The chief minister also informed that most of the infected patients have travel history and came into contact with COVID19 positive cases. “Out of 821 samples tested today, 49 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE. On Wednesday, India's total tally of COVID19 positive increased to 2,07,615 including 1,01,497 active cases.

Informing about the new cases, chief minister Deb in a tweet at 10.32 pm on Tuesday said a total of 581 samples were tested for COVID19 in the state on the day, out of which 25 were found positive. On Wednesday, Indias total tally of COVID19 positive increased to 2,07,615 including 1,01,497 active cases. While 100,303 people have recovered from the disease, the infection has claimed the lives of 5,815 people, the Union Health Ministry informed on Wednesday.
