Tripura has registered 102 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state's overall tally to 622. The chief minister informed that most of the infected patients have travel history and came into contact with COVID19 positive cases. “Out of 728 samples tested today, 102 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE. In Northeast, Assam has registered the highest number of COVID19 positive cases with 1,830. India has now become the world's seventh worst-hit country in terms of COVID19 cases, according to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) COVID19 tracker.

Tripura has registered 102 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the states overall tally to 622. Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet at 11.41 pm on Wednesday said 728 samples were tested for COVID19 on the day, out of which 102 were found positive. The chief minister informed that most of the infected patients have travel history and came into contact with COVID19 positive cases. “Out of 728 samples tested today, 102 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE. Most of them have travel history and contacts,” said chief minister Deb in the tweet. In Northeast, Assam has registered the highest number of COVID19 positive cases with 1,830. The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 4 persons in Assam while 3 cases migrated from the state. Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that on Wednesday, the state registered a total of 269 positive cases. Out of 728 samples tested today, 102 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE.
