Tripura reports 8 new COVID19 positive cases 7 patients discharged

Tripura has registered 8 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state's overall tally to 1,402. While 3 of the infected patients are from West Tripura district, Khowai, South, North, Gomati and Sepahijala districts have reported 1 positive case each. Sharing the good news, chief minister Deb said the patients were discharged from Hapania Covid Care Center after they tested negative for the virus. “Glad to share that 7 COVID-19 patients have been discharged today from Hapania Covid Care Center after their test results came NEGATIVE,” deb tweeted“I pray for the speedy recovery of all the COVID-19 patients,” he added.

Confirming the detection of new COVID19 cases in the state, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet on Wednesday night said a total of 1,675 samples were tested for COVID19 on the day, out of which 8 were found positive for the virus The chief minister informed that all of the infected patients have travel history. While 3 of the infected patients are from West Tripura district, Khowai, South, North, Gomati and Sepahijala districts have reported 1 positive case each. “Out of 1675 samples tested for COVID-19, 8 people found #POSITIVE. Sharing the good news, chief minister Deb said the patients were discharged from Hapania Covid Care Center after they tested negative for the virus. “Glad to share that 7 COVID-19 patients have been discharged today from Hapania Covid Care Center after their test results came NEGATIVE,” deb tweeted “I pray for the speedy recovery of all the COVID-19 patients,” he added. Chief minister Deb has announced that the state government will launch a public immunity boosting programme in the urban areas for next one month. The government will distribute Vitamin C-enriched juice and fruits, especially pineapple and lemon, among the urban population through self-help groups every Saturday. “Healthy society is the foundation for the socio-economic development of any State. Keeping this in view, our government has decided to introduce public immunity boosting programme in urban areas for next one month,” Deb tweeted. “The fruits will be directly purchased from our farmers,” Deb added.
