Covid 19 vaccination 45000 health workers to be immunized in Tripura

Mission director of Tripura National Health Mission (NHM), Siddhartha Jaiswal said, “Covid-19 vaccination is underway at 17 places in the state.”However, vaccination will be carried out in more than a hundred sites across the state from January 18. A 45,000 health workers in Tripura will be vaccinated against Covid-19 in the first phase. The chief minister asked the people of Tripura to strive towards self-reliance.

Speaking on the occasion, Biplab Kumar Deb said, “Today is a historic day for us as the Covid-19 vaccination has begun across the country.” “I thank all the frontline workers who have been dedicatedly providing their services to the public amidst the ongoing pandemic,” he said. The tireless efforts of Indian scientists have come to fruition with the Covid-19 vaccines being developed indigenously in the country, he further said. Mission director of Tripura National Health Mission (NHM), Siddhartha Jaiswal said, “Covid-19 vaccination is underway at 17 places in the state.” However, vaccination will be carried out in more than a hundred sites across the state from January 18. A 45,000 health workers in Tripura will be vaccinated against Covid-19 in the first phase. In the second phase, about 90,000 field staff will be vaccinated and, about nine lakh people in the third phase. Data collection for the second and third phases is underway and 2200 vaccination sites have been identified for the third phase. The chief minister asked the people of Tripura to strive towards self-reliance. He also took the occasion to thank the media fraternity for spreading awareness about Covid-19 among the public through their writings.
