CPI M MLAs stage protest against ruling BJP government in Tripura

CPI(M) MLAs have come out to protest in Agartala against the frequent attacks on leaders and party workers of opposition parties.
The CPI(M) MLAs on Wednesday organized a protest rally from the party office in Agartala and also staged a demonstration, demanding action against the miscreants who carried out the attacks on opposition party leaders and works.
They alleged that attacks on opposition leaders have been orchestrated by the ruling BJP state government.
Manik Sarkar and other CPI(M) MLAs had met the Tripura Governor on January 18, seeking his intervention into the matter relating to increasing attacks on leaders and supporters of opposition parties across the state.
CPIM MLA and former minister Badal Choudhury appealed to everyone to stand against ruling BJP government.
