BJP led Tripura Government outsources departmental jobs to private companies

In a shocking development the BJP-led Tripura Government has outsourced jobs in various department of the State Government to private firms. A circular has been issued in this regard by the Directorate of Employment Services and Manpower Planning, dated February 26. The Tripura Government has fixed five agencies, who will supply staff to various government departments. The circular was signed by Naresh Babu, director of Employment Services and Manpower Planning Department. In a shocking development the BJP-led Tripura Government has outsourced jobs in various department of the State Government to private firms. A circular has been issued in this regard by the Directorate of Employment Services and Manpower Planning, dated February 26. The circular states: “The Directorate of Employment Services and Manpower Planning, Government of Tripura is empanelled Agencies for supply of manpower on item rate basis to different State Government Departments.” Hopes for getting a Government job by the youth in Tripura has been completely dashed by this circular. The Tripura Government has fixed five agencies, who will supply staff to various government departments. From Group D to the official level, all types of staff will be supplied by these five agencies. The five agencies are: Visual Securas and Infotech Limited, Ujjan Abhoynagar, Agartala MS Support Service Private Limited, Gurgaon Road, Kapashera, New Delhi ARK informatics PVT Ltd, Ashirbad House, North Joynagar, Agartala North East Security Shibnagar, Masjid Road, Agartala Skilful Trustful Security Cooperative Society, AD Nagar, Agartala Also read: Tripura: BJP-IPFT alliance announces candidates for TTAADC elections What is astonishing is that posts where incumbents are recruited through exams held by the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) have been given over to private agencies for recruitment. The circular was signed by Naresh Babu, director of Employment Services and Manpower Planning Department. The agencies will receive a commission each month based on the number of employees and salaries they provide. The development comes at a time when unemployment rate in Tripura like the rest of the country is at an abnormal high.
