BJP National President JP Nadda will go to Tripura to resolve the rift between BJP and IPFT alliance in the Tripura government

BJP National President JP Nadda will go to Tripura to resolve the rift between BJP and IPFT alliance in the Tripura government. Leaders of BJP`s ally IPFT came to Delhi and met Nadda and told him about their concerns. BJP formed the government with IPFT for the first time in Tripura after ending the 25-year-old power of the Left.

IPFT has told BJP National President JP Nadda that due to various reasons people are not happy with the government in the state. One of the reasons he cited is that government employees have not been promoted for more than a decade.

According to sources, IPFT first conveyed its concerns to CM Biplab Dev but he failed to provide any solutions.

Leaders of Indigenous People Front of Tripura (IPFT), an ally of BJP in Tripura, met Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda in New Delhi late Wednesday evening. The IPFT leaders were summoned by BJP national president JP Nadda after the "massive erosion" of the support base of the BJP and IPFT, particularly in the tribal belt.

Meanwhile, a four-member IPFT delegation including Tripura Tribal Welfare Minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia met BJP National President JP Nadda at his official residence in New Delhi.

BJP can soon make big changes in its Tripura unit after a rebellion in the party unit. The central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by the National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh reached Tripura for a two days visit after protests by some angry MLAs.

It is reported that decisions like cabinet expansion in the state and change of responsibilities at the organization level can be taken soon. Earlier some Tripura BJP MLAs had reached Delhi and complained against the Chief Minister of the state, Biplab Dev and party president Manik Shah.
