Missing boy, 6, found killed in tantrik ritual in Kasganj dist

Agra: A six-year-old boy, missing for two days, was found murdered in an area under Sahawar police jurisdiction of Kasganj district on Sunday. In another case, a six-year-old girl was sacrificed in Kilauni village of Sidhpura village recently. Since Pawan’s father had filed a missing person report at Sidhpura police station, the team led by Inspector Raj Kumar Singh is investigating the matter. There was a cut from a sharp implement around his neck, but there was no blood under the tree, which suggested that he was murdered somewhere else. On January 12, a five-year-old boy was killed and his body was dumped 7 km from his home in Maanpur village in Dehat Kotwali, Etah.In Shahpur village of Amapur police jurisdiction of Kasganj, a minor boy was sacrificed, while in Sidhpura, a man sacrificed his three-month old son in Chanpur village.

Police have said the circumstances under which the body was found indicate he had been sacrificed in a tantric ritual.The boy, Pawan, was a son of Anil, a farmer from Gisukhpur village under Baghwala police jurisdiction of Etah district. The family had come to attend a wedding on Thursday night at Tajpur village under Sidhpura police jurisdiction.Pawan’s body was found under a pipal tree at Sitakar village in Sahawar, 15km from Tajpur, on Saturday evening.Anil Saraswat, station officer of Sahawar said, “Pawan was murdered. There was a cut from a sharp implement around his neck, but there was no blood under the tree, which suggested that he was murdered somewhere else. However, around the body we found pictures of a Hindu goddess, incense sticks and other items, indicating this was some kind of tantric sacrifice.”“The boy was fully clothed and there was no sign of sodomy or sexual abuse. Since Pawan’s father had filed a missing person report at Sidhpura police station, the team led by Inspector Raj Kumar Singh is investigating the matter. Two sections of IPC have been added to the FIR, that of murder (302) and causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender (201),” added Saraswat.This is not the first such case of minors being sacrificed for tantrik rituals recently in the region.
