Agra: Five people looted Rs 1.66 lakh in cash from a Reliance petrol pump, near Ganbhana at NH 91, early on Monday morning.According to police, the incident occurred at 4:15 am when five people, including two armed with country-made pistols, entered the petrol pump for refilling their car – a Suzuki SX4. He said the entire incident occurred within the span of a few minutes. The SSP did not rule out the possibility of the involvement of someone from the refilling station in the loot. They allegedly threatened the cashier who was sitting inside the cabin and snatched Rs 1.66 lakhs from him.On the basis of a complaint filed by the manager of the petrol pump, Sumit Kumar, a case has been registered under section 392 (robbery) of IPC against unidentified people.SSP Rajesh Pandey said that the CCTV footage is being checked.
