8-year-old boy kidnapped in Mathura

Though the police have not ruled out ransom being the motive behind the kidnapping, they say its is unlikely, as the family does not appear to be very well off.SSP, Mathura, Prabhakar Chaudhary said, case is being registered. He said all possible angles are being explored. Police said his father, Raju, who is physically handicap is a businessman and has two garments shops.Raju told the police that he has no rivalries and their family is a simple one. AGRA: In a sensational kidnapping, two masked men on a motorcycle abducted an eight-year-old boy, Laxman Agarwal in broad daylight in the busy and congested area of Kosikala in Mathura district on Friday afternoon.According to police, Laxman, a class III student of Saraswati Sishu Mandir , was returning home at around 3 pm with his friend Ajay Gautam , when two bike borne youths abducted him just 60 meters before his residence.Laxman’s friend Ajay who was with him at the time of abduction told media that kidnappers first caught him but after seeing his face they left him and took Laxman away.Though the police have no clues so far about the identity of the suspects or the motive behind the kidnapping, a CCTV camera , installed at a shop in Krishna Nagar of Kosikala, managed to capture the images of suspects fleeing on a motorcycle with Laxman sitting between them.
