Body of 8 yr old girl found in a sack in Hathras

Agra: A body of an eight-year-old girl, who had been missing since Thursday evening, was found stuffed in a sack at a neighbour’s terrace in Pokharwala locality in Sadabad area of Hathras on Friday evening.The girl had gone to her uncle’s house, which barely 500 m from her own, at around 3 pm to play. Finally, they approached police and a case of kidnap was registered at the Sadabad police station in Hathras on Thursday night.On Friday evening, a neighbour, Susheela noticed blood spots in her house that had dripped from the terrace and when she went upstairs, she found a blood-stained sack. She immediately informed police.Talking to TOI, additional superintendent of police (ASP) Arvind Kumar said that a case under section 302 (murder) of IPC has been registered and the body has been sent for post mortem and investigations are on.“Prima facie some corrosive substance was poured on her body as boils had appeared on it,” Kumar added.
