Woman’s body found on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura

AGRA: Dead body of a 30-year-old unidentified woman was found near the 68th milestone of Yamuna Expressway in Naujheel area of Mathura on Sunday.According to police, the body was discovered by a passerby and he alerted the police around 7 am. The second suitcase was recovered near a pond that was only 4 km away from the spot where the first body was recovered. On August 12, police discovered a 40-year-old unidentified woman's body in a suitcase near Raipur Jat area, Farah, on NH2, another highly decomposed body of a 27-year-old girl was found stuffed in a suitcase on the next day. The body was found on the road coming from Noida to Agra.Station house officer of Naujheel area, Durgesh Kumar said that it is suspected that the woman was strangulated to death before her body was dumped at the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem and efforts are being made to identify her.A case of murder has been registered and further investigations are on.Last year in November, body of an unidentified woman in her late 30s, who was apparently murdered, was found in a jute sack near Yamuna Expressway in Mathura’s Mahawan police station area.

He said that no documents were recovered from her body but she appeared to be from a well off family.He said that the deceased was clad in jeans and kurta and had a gold “challa” on her finger and a wrist watch. The body has been sent for post-mortem and efforts are being made to identify her.A case of murder has been registered and further investigations are on.Last year in November, body of an unidentified woman in her late 30s, who was apparently murdered, was found in a jute sack near Yamuna Expressway in Mathura’s Mahawan police station area. The body was found near the service road and it had appeared that someone travelling from Noida to Agra had dumped it.Similarly in 2016, two unidentified bodies of women were found in a suitcase abandoned on NH-2. On August 12, police discovered a 40-year-old unidentified woman's body in a suitcase near Raipur Jat area, Farah, on NH2, another highly decomposed body of a 27-year-old girl was found stuffed in a suitcase on the next day. The second suitcase was recovered near a pond that was only 4 km away from the spot where the first body was recovered.
