AGRA: Members of Former VHP chief, Praveen Togadia’s outfit, ‘Hindu hi Aage’ took out a “Bare chested” protest march in Agra on Thursday demanding the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya Accusing the BJP of betraying the nation by not fulfilling its promise for the construction of Ram Mandir, the protestors claimed that Hindus will not vote for the saffron party in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He said, PM, Modi has surely made a good image of our country but they alone cannot win them the elections .Recently, Praveen Togadia had announced to launch his new religious cum social outfit in Delhi on June 24. Till now, his supporters are working under the banner of “Hindu hi Aage”.In April this year, after quitting VHP, Togadia had sat on a fast under the banner “Hindu hi Aage”, and declared that a strong social movement was underway for the speedy reconstruction of Ayodhya Ram Temple.He had then said that the PM had breached the trust of hindus and he should not forget that he gained power because of the blood spilled by them.

Shouting slogans, “Ram Lala Hum ayenge mandir wahi banayenge”, the protestors also carried bricks.Agra unit chief of the outfit, Govind Parashar said, “We are reminding the BJP of its promise of constructing Ram temple and if that doesn’t happen we will go to Ayodhya with 5 lakh bricks for the construction of the temple”.The protesters, clad only in their pants and payjamas, marched from Tajganj area to Red Fort, Agra, carrying small posters with messages- “2019 se Pehle mandir nahi to Vote nahi” and “Ram Ji ko ab Tripal me nahi sahenge”.Another member of outfit, Nagesh Sharma said that Hindus had supported BJP because of their Hindutva agenda and its time now that the promises made to them are fulfilled.
