UP CM inaugurates public welfare projects worth Rs 623 cr in Farrukhabad Etah

AGRA: Ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls, on Sunday, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath laid foundation and inaugurated scores of public welfare projects in Farrukhabad and Etah districts worth Rs 623 crore .The CM first visited Farrukhabad and made a surprise visit to Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya district hospital. Our government also focused on women's safety, hospitals, schools and jobs for unemployed youths,” said the CM at Farrukhabad. Further he added, “Previous governments neglected districts like Farrukhabad even for basic amenities. Last year 46 infants were reported dead in just one month due to shortage of oxygen in the hospital. Unhappy with unhygienic and poor care of patients, the CM reprimanded senior doctors.

Unhappy with unhygienic and poor care of patients, the CM reprimanded senior doctors. Last year 46 infants were reported dead in just one month due to shortage of oxygen in the hospital. Later, the CM flagged off nearly 50 mini trucks carrying placards, posters and loudspeakers who carried messages of state government achievements since its inception in 2017.Later, addressing the at Awas Vikas Ground, the CM said, “Unlike previous governments who gave power supply to a handful of selected districts, our government ensured that all 75 districts receive electricity at least 20 hours a day in urban and 18 hours in rural areas. The governments both at state and central is committed for the welfare and growth of every citizen, ensuring that the even the lowest strata's impoverished person in not left behind.”“We declared minimum support price for potato farmers and ensured basic amenities such as water, power, roads to very village. Our government also focused on women's safety, hospitals, schools and jobs for unemployed youths,” said the CM at Farrukhabad. Further he added, “Previous governments neglected districts like Farrukhabad even for basic amenities. The district has immense potential for tourism and other things.”After inaugurating Rs 340 crore worth projects comprising road infrastructure development, affordable homes for the poor, clean drinking water facility, the CM left for Etah district.In Etah, the CM inaugurated public welfare projects Rs 283 crore worth and distributed certificates to those who received benefits from pension scheme, farmer loan waiver, Ujwala Yojana and etc,.Addressing the public at Etah, the CM said, “Under one district one product, government is committed to promote district bell industry. We have also cleared the proposal for the development of medical college in Etah. Soon, we will lay foundation stone for the project.”Targeting the opposition, the CM said, “Casteism and family politics are the biggest threat and obstacle for the development and growth of nation. Our government is impartial and treats everyone equal. We all take everyone together towards the better future.”
