Hit by police jeep, minor boy dies; two others severely injured

Agra: A 17-year-old boy was killed and two others were severely injured after their motorcycle was hit by a police jeep in Aligarh on Tuesday night.According to police, the jeep was being driven by a trainee sub-inspector. The two injured youths, Ashu (20) and Bhavsagar (21), were admitted to JN Medical College for treatment.Aligarh SSP Ajay Kumar Sahini said that so far no complaint has been received from the deceased’s family and the matter is being investigated. The accident took place around 9 pm in an area under Pisawa police station. “None of the youths had a driving licence,” he said. The three youths were going back to their native village of Habibpur after buying some stuff from a market in Aligarh city when their bike was hit by the police jeep.The deceased was identified as Shivam.
