Boy falls into hole, dies; another swept away in Yamuna

While 8-year-old Ehsan fell into a deep hole, 7-year-old Kapil drowned while swimming with his friends in the Yamuna river on Wednesday. Agra: Two minor boys allegedly died in two separate incidents on Wednesday. Kapil’s body is yet to be recovered.The incident of Kapil’s drowning occurred on Wednesday evening under the Surir police station when a group of children jumped into the river for swimming. Though attempts were made to rescue him but it went futile. According to police, the other kids informed their parents that they could not find their friend soon after they jumped into the river.Ehsan, who was playing with his friend near Govardhan drain fell into a deep hole, dug on side of the drain for flood prevention and died.
