Bodies of men killed in Aligarh encounter buried amid tight security

However, we were made to stand in a corner and witness the proceedings like mute spectators,” Heena said, claiming that she and her mother-in-law Shabana were brought to the site minutes before the burial.Abdul Wahid from Atrauli city, where the families of Mustakim and Naushad are based, was called by police to perform the last rites of the two alleged criminals wanted by the police for six murders.When TOI asked Wahid to describe his relation with the deceased men, he said, “I knew Mustakim, but I don’t know the other man.” Asked if Islamic rituals were duly followed by police, he said, “I don’t think all the rituals were followed.
