VHP opposes proposed visit of Samajwadi party members to Aligarh

They have no right to advise us”.The six-member committee, formed on the directions of national president Akhilesh Yadav, comprises Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Nagar, former ministers, Kamal Akhtar and Omkar Singh Yadav, former MLA Zafar Alam and MLCs, Uday Veer Singh Malik and Dileep Yadav is scheduled to visit on Wednesday. AGRA: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Tuesday opposed the proposed visit of Samajwadi party‘s fact finding team to Aligarh on October 10 to meet the family members of two alleged criminals, Naushad and Mustakeem , killed by the police in an encounter last month.VHP activists have also warned the team that they may have to face the ire of the public as people were agitated about the killing of six people including Sadhus by the two alleged criminals. The activists have also given a memorandum to the SSP and DM and urged them to stop their visit immediately.Talking to media, Ram Kumar Arya , Vibhag Mantri Bajrang Dal in Aligarh said that it is unfortunate that individuals and representatives of different organisations, including former JNU student leader Umar Khalid and socialist Pankhuri Pathak, had visited the family members of those involved in the murder and loot cases.“Why everyone has sympathy with these criminal and why do they want to protect them,” said Arya, while advising the SP team members to shelve their plans.Reacting on VHP’s opposition, Samajwadi party MLC Uday Veer Singh Malik said, no one can stop their proposed visit.
