Three killed dozen injured in separate accidents in Mathura Firozabad and Agra

Agra: On the first foggy day of this winter, three men died and over a dozen people injured in four separate road accidents in Mathura, Firozabad and Agra district on Thursday.In the first accident that took place in Yamunapar police jurisdiction of Mathura, three motor-bike riders were hit by an unidentified vehicle. The accident occurred on Raya-Mathura road near Gausena village. The accident occurred at around 8 am on Nagla Imlia road, after which three men trapped inside mangled pick-up truck were rescued. Four people, including the bus driver, Hirdayanand, and conductor, Amarnath, were injured with passengers Bablu and his wife Soni. The victims died in hospital.”The second accident took place on Agra-Lucknow expressway under Nasirpur police jurisdiction of Firozabad district, where a UP roadways bus of Ballia depot rammed into rear of a standstill truck.

The victims succumbed to their injuries. The accident occurred on Raya-Mathura road near Gausena village. The victims have been identified as Sunil (29), Sonu (22) and Kalua (24).Station house officer of Yamunapar, Pradeep Singh, said, “The three victims were returning from a marriage function on the motor-bike when a vehicle hit them. The victims died in hospital.”The second accident took place on Agra-Lucknow expressway under Nasirpur police jurisdiction of Firozabad district, where a UP roadways bus of Ballia depot rammed into rear of a standstill truck. Four people, including the bus driver, Hirdayanand, and conductor, Amarnath, were injured with passengers Bablu and his wife Soni. The accident occurred around 5:45 am, when the bus was heading towards New Delhi with 36 passengers onboard.Another accident took place under Jasrana police jurisdiction of Fiorzabad, when a pick-up truck was hit by bus and truck from both ends, injuring three men. The accident occurred at around 8 am on Nagla Imlia road, after which three men trapped inside mangled pick-up truck were rescued. Identified as Saleem Ahamd, Aas Mohammad and Azim of Muzaffarnagar district, the victims were going to Etah when they met with the accident.Later in the evening, a tractor-trolley ferrying nearly 30 people from Mathura’s Kherai to Agra’s Malpura, turned turtle at New South bypass road after been hit by truck. In the accident, eight persons were injured. According to the police, the victims were going to Mureda village to attend a marriage function.
