The clip of the incident, which took place on Thursday, went viral on Friday.In the first video, which was shot on a mobile phone inside the DVVNL executive engineer’s office, the MLA is seen upbraiding officer Dinesh Kumar Singh for taking action against some men who had allegedly been involved in power theft Speaking to TOI, Singh said, “The MLA was angry that an FIR had been lodged against eight men who were involved in a power theft. He wanted no action against them, but we followed our procedure and took appropriate action.”However, managing director of DVVNL, S K Verma, denied any harsh words had been exchanged. “There were some cases related to an electric bill dispute and the MLA came with a request drop the matter.
