Four killed in two separate road accidents in UP

AGRA: Four persons died in two separate accidents in Hathras and Mainpuri district of UP in the past 24 hours. In Mainpuri, two teenagers were killed while another is battling for his life at the hospital after being mowed down by an unidentified truck early on Tuesday. A case has been registered against the truck driver on the basis of a complaint filed by Dileep’s brother, Rajeev. He said an FIR has been registered against an unidentified person and bodies have been sent for autosy. Both of them died on the spot, while Devendra Kumar Yadav (19) was admitted in Safai hospital in a critical condition.

The mishap took place while the victims were jogging along the roadside in Jijai village here.The deceased were identified as Vishal Shakya (19) and Shivam Shakya (18). Both of them died on the spot, while Devendra Kumar Yadav (19) was admitted in Safai hospital in a critical condition. The truck driver managed to flee with the vehicle.SP Mainpuri Ajay Shankar Rai said that the incident occurred at Ram Nagar crossing between Kishni and Bewar area around 6am. He said an FIR has been registered against an unidentified person and bodies have been sent for autosy. He said further investigations are on.In Hathras, two persons, identified as Dileep Sharma (30) and Vibhor Kaushik (28), were killed when the car in which they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck parked at the roadside in Sikandarao area of Hathras at around 1am.They both were rushed to the Community health centre by local residents, but were declared brought dead. According to police, Dileep hailed from Mainpuri and Vibhor from Delhi. Their bodies have been sent for post mortem examination. A case has been registered against the truck driver on the basis of a complaint filed by Dileep’s brother, Rajeev.
