Widow of a slain jawan gives birth to boy says he too will join Army to serve nation

Our son will join the Army and fight for his father. Krishan was born to kill ‘Kanas’ and Pakistan is Kanas who took away my Rajesh. “Just like lord Krishan, our son too will avenge his father’s death. He too is a born fighter just like his father. My only objective is to prepare our son for the Army and serve the nation, just like his father,” said the brave widow, who hailed from Rejau village in Etah district.Krishan Raj was born on February 14 and his father was martyred on December 6 in Kashmir.

AGRA: Two months after gunner Rajesh Kumar Yadav of 57 Rashtriya Rifles was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Macchil sector of Jammu and Kashmir, his 28-year-old widow Shweta Yadav on Wednesday said that their son too will join the Army and serve the nation.The week-old infant has been named Krishan Raj and is presently under observation at the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Agra.Rajesh Kumar YadavShweta said, “Our child, Raj, has been named after his father Rajesh and Hindu lord Krishan. He too is a born fighter just like his father. Just two days after his birth, he caught an infection and was in critical condition and he fought for his life for four days and now he is stable.”She added that her son will avenge his father’s death. “Just like lord Krishan, our son too will avenge his father’s death. Krishan was born to kill ‘Kanas’ and Pakistan is Kanas who took away my Rajesh. Our son will join the Army and fight for his father. My only objective is to prepare our son for the Army and serve the nation, just like his father,” said the brave widow, who hailed from Rejau village in Etah district.Krishan Raj was born on February 14 and his father was martyred on December 6 in Kashmir.
