The seized liquor is estimated to be worth Rs 16 lakh in the market.Police said that a case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Excise Act. AGRA: A man was arrested on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura early on Tuesday for allegedly illegally transporting over 3000 bottles of liquor meant for sale in Haryana.According to police, the man, Subhash Chandra, was held around 3:10 am on the Yamuna Expressway near Maant toll plaza. His truck, carrying 270 cartons with 3240 bottles of liquor in them, was impounded during checking. The accused hails from Panipat district.
