Salary for February delayed, Agra teachers mark 'Holi of corruption'

"District general secretary of RSM, Abhay Yadav said, "Over 7,000 teachers and 'shiksha mitras' of Agra district celebrated this year's Holi without salary. AGRA: Unhappy with their delay in salary, primary teachers of Agra district participated in a symbolic gesture of 'Holi of corruption' in front of the Basic Shiksha Adhikari's (BSA) office on Tuesday.The protesting primary teachers are yet to receive their February salary. They have failed to disburse teachers' salaries even ahead of a festival. Teachers' salaries are getting delayed every month, nowadays." They gathered under the banner of Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (RSM) and alleged that officials deliberately delayed their salaries causing them "financial and mental harassment".
