Agra: Deployed on duty on the day of Holi, cops get to celebrate their own festival a day later. Policemen posted at the Government Railway Police’s Agra Cantonment station had quite a riot of colours on Friday. A few videos which were posted online and went quickly viral showed a few cops wearing sarees and skirts and dancing to peppy Bollywood songs.The celebrations were held inside the police station premises.When asked to explain, a cop on the condition of anonymity told TOI, “Most of us stay away from our families and miss them terribly. That’s why some of us donned women’s clothes and attempted to roleplay during the celebrations.”One of the videos showed a cop exposing his bosoms while another one grabbed them lustily while the others gyrated in a frenzy.In another video, a cop is spurned by another colleague in a crimson skirt while the former tries to lift it.Vijay Singh, station house officer of Agra Cantt, said, “I’m not aware of men wearing saree or skirt, but there was Holi celebration. Retired and serving cops came together to celebrate the moment in an open area in the police station premises. After brief cheerful moments, I left the police station but the celebrations continued.”
