Two teens drown in Yamuna river on holi

Agra: Two teenagers drowned in Yamuna river on the afternoon of holi after the duo went to swim along with five school friends. On Thursday afternoon at around 1pm after playing Holi, seven boys went to water-works at the bank of Yamuna for a swim. Six out of the seven boys hailed from Nagla Padi of a private school under the jurisdiction of New Agra Police station. His family works in a hotel for livelihood.According to sources, police have recovered the bodies from Etmad-ud-daula river side. Two of them drowned.According to police, the boys were identified as Pankaj (17) and Shalu (16).

Six out of the seven boys hailed from Nagla Padi of a private school under the jurisdiction of New Agra Police station. Pankaj hailed from Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand. His family works in a hotel for livelihood.According to sources, police have recovered the bodies from Etmad-ud-daula river side. The teenagers had just given their high school board examination.Talking to TOI, SHO Chhata Police station, Sanjay Kumar Tyagi said, “Both the bodies have been found and sent to mortuary for postmortem.”
