AGRA: At least two dozen people were injured in two different road accidents on Agra-Lucknow expressway and Etah-Firozabad highway on Monday.The first accident occurred in morning hours near zero milestone on Agra-Lucknow expressway under Fatehabad police jurisdiction of Agra district , when a speeding private bus carrying nearly 40 passengers from Azamgarh to national capital, turned turtle on B-loop of expressway exit.Nearly 16 passengers were injured and were taken to S N Medical College for aid. The bus was later removed from the expressway with the help of crane.The second mishap occurred on Etah-Firozabad highway under Jasrana police jurisdiction, when a speeding truck trieed to overtake an overloaded tractor-trolley carrying fodder for cattle to Shikohabad In the accident, both the vehicles plunged into a canal. Total five persons including drivers of truck and tractor-trolley were injured.Victims were identified as Rinku, Subhas and Bramhanand of Nagla Bhopal of Malawan police jurisdiction of Etah district who were on tractor-trolley, while the truck driver Ravinder Kumar and Ravinder Singh of Sardhana, Meerut were also injured.
