AGRA: Day after members of a particular community in Agra raised objections and protested against the release of movie ' Ram Ki Janmabhoomi ', a right-wing group of Thursday announced to man theatres in Agra to ensure hassle-free screening of the film. The film, directed by Sanoj Mishra, allegedly revolves around the controversial issue of Ram Mandir.
It is scheduled to hit the screens across the country on Friday.“If anyone attempts to prevent release of the movie, we will take every possible action to ensure its screening.
The movie highlights the ill-practice of ‘halala’ which has destroyed lives of many Muslim women.
The concept of ‘halala’ shown in the movie is wrong and we don’t support it.”Raising question on the timing of the release, Sherwani said, “the election commission should not allow the movie to be released before the culmination of polls.
Our men will be deployed at the theatres,” Gopal Chahar, state secretary of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh , said.“Only a handful of people from the Muslim community, who have vested interested, have raised objections on the movie.
